He's been quite good in his final season, with a near 2 ERA and an opponents hit a devastatingly low .187. Beyond being a situational left-handed dealer out of the pen, Huberman has been Hubbs', USC's head coach, go-to reliever in innings 6 or later.

In this game, Huberman is selected for a long-relief role, it is a must-win for USC. After falling behind early, they needed his arm to keep them in the game.
